From Mme. Hinck:
On Wednesday, April 14th Mrs. Hinck took 38 of her French students (Middle and Upper) on their yearly outing to the Melting Pot for some incredible fondue. The first course was the cheese fondue (Cheddar and Swiss) using a variety of breads and vegetables.
Next a salad, then the second course of beef and chicken was brought out with an assortment of sauces in which to dip them. Students anticipated cooking their own food in the steaming broth with their individual set of skewers. The “piece de resistance” came in the form of the third course: The turtle and dark chocolate fondues with a variety of foods to dip such as marshmallows, mini brownies, rice krispy treats, pound cake, strawberries, bananas, etc. Everybody had “une expérience fantastique!”
